About the Project

Bringing Satvic Living to the Digital World

The Vegan Satvic Salad website was designed & developed as my master’s final year project on WordPress. The goal was to create a digital platform that promotes Satvic living, offering users access to plant-based recipes, lifestyle insights, & holistic well-being guidance.y

With a focus on minimalist design, intuitive navigation, & engaging content, the website ensures a seamless user experience while reflecting the purity & simplicity of Satvic principles. The carefully selected color palette & structured content flow enhance readability, making it an inviting space for individuals seeking natural & mindful nourishment.

This project showcases my expertise in UX design, web development, & service design, demonstrating my ability to craft a functional & aesthetically balanced digital experience that aligns with a specific lifestyle philosophy.

Nourishing the mind, body, & soul—experience the purity of Satvic living with every bite

Finding the Niche : Initially, I struggled to pinpoint a unique concept within the broad food industry. My tutor advised me to look into my surroundings for inspiration. That’s when I realized I had two strong influences— veganism & Satvic living. This sparked an idea: why not merge the two philosophies into a br& that embodies both Satvic principles & veganism?

Building the Brand Identity :With the concept in place, I began working on a name that resonated with both themes. My first thought was Vegan Satvic Salad, but it felt too long. After refining it, I arrived at Satvic Salad, a name that was simple, memorable, & aligned with the brand’s essence.

Designing the Logo : Designing the logo was one of my biggest challenges. As I had never created a logo before, I had to push myself beyond my comfort zone. I wanted it to be more than just a visual mark—I wanted it to carry meaning & perspective. After multiple iterations, I finally crafted a logo that truly represented the brands’s identity.

Research, Content, & Development :Research was a crucial part of this project. I spent time underst&ing the core principles of Satvic living, how it differed from traditional veganism, & how to effectively communicate these ideas through a digital platform. I collaborated with my friend & wife to curate authentic recipes that followed both Satvic & vegan guidelines.

The Learning Experience :This project was a transformational journey, teaching me valuable lessons in problem identification, br&ing, UI/UX design, & content creation. From refining an idea to executing it, every step was an opportunity to learn, adapt, & grow. Despite the challenges, the entire process was incredibly rewarding & enjoyable, reinforcing my ability to blend creativity with strategy.
