Revamping Chandan Mukhwas' Digital Presence

I led the transformation of Chandan Mukhwas' online experience by redesigning their website, optimizing product presentation, and streamlining content management. Initially built on WordPress, the site lacked flexibility, leading me to recommend a transition to Shopify for better scalability. I collaborated with a developer, managed product photography, and onboarded freelancers to enhance the brand’s digital storytelling. The result? A modern, user-friendly platform that strengthened their online presence and improved customer engagement.

Challenge:

Chandan Mukhwas, a traditional business with a strong local presence, faced the challenge of modernizing its digital presence to reach a broader audience. Their existing WordPress website was outdated, difficult to manage, and didn’t effectively communicate the brand’s story or showcase their products.

Approach:

Understanding the business's needs and user expectations, I approached this project with a focus on improving both the digital experience and operational efficiency. The first step was identifying the gaps in their current online presence and gathering insights from stakeholders about their challenges. I then worked closely with the company to create a comprehensive strategy for redesigning the website.

Additionally, I recognized that content management (image editing, product photography) and operational tasks needed more structure. To tackle this, I suggested a holistic approach: hiring freelancers with the right skills, including a professional photographer, to ensure high-quality imagery. I also guided them through setting up processes for ongoing content updates and maintenance.

Solution:

I redesigned the website to reflect Chandan Mukhwas's rich heritage while incorporating modern design principles and a user-centric approach. The design process was iterative, ensuring that it not only met the business objectives but also enhanced the user journey. I also recommended transitioning the site to Shopify to streamline product management and e-commerce functionality.

Working collaboratively with a developer, we implemented the new design, ensuring that it was scalable, responsive, and easy to navigate across devices. The collaboration ensured a seamless and efficient process while maintaining a high-quality standard.
