Book Our Talent is a self-initiated end-to-end project built to bridge the gap between emerging Indian talents (anchors, artists, dancers, influencers) and event planners.
I owned the full product design lifecycle from research and UX to UI.
There’s no reliable way to discover and book verified Indian talent, especially beyond metro cities.
BookOurTalent was born after watching planners struggle with last-minute bookings and artists lose gigs due to scattered communication. We set out to build a cleaner, trusted, and scalable solution.
I conducted interviews with over 12 event planners, artists, and talent managers to understand the booking chaos, from unreliable DMs to last-minute cancellations.
As the sole designer, I followed a modified Double Diamond methodology to balance discovery, definition, ideation, and design execution. I began with lightweight user research and competitor analysis to define core user needs. Using Journey Mapping and Card Sorting, I structured a clear Information Architecture. I sketched initial ideas and developed wireframes, leading to high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes in Figma. Each step involved validation through peer feedback and informal usability checks, keeping the process agile, iterative, and user-centred.

This project helped me strengthen multiple skills:
